Prix de l'Opera may offer BC clues

PARIS -- The winner of a competitive renewal of the five-furlong Prix de l'Abbaye de Longchamp on Sunday will automatically qualify for a spot in the Breeders' Cup Turf Sprint, but a more important race on the Arc undercard, the Prix de l'Opera, may reveal more about possible Breeders' Cup runners at Santa Anita on Nov. 6 and 7.
