With no position players scoring more than 30 points in Week 4 -- just a defense (the 49ers') -- one might think there aren't many risers to analyze in this week's Stock Watch. Not true! We'll pass over Rashard Mendenhall, because he was featured prominently Monday, and take a look at a few others who look a bit better heading into Week 5 than at this time last week. And of course we'll address a few who look worse, too. There always are fallers in fantasy football; finding the risers can be a bit more problematic.

Antonio Gates: Not that there were concerns about whether he's a productive player, but I didn't see many folks projecting Gates to return to top form before the season. Over the hill and brittle at 29 seemed more like it. Tony Gonzalez and Jason Witten were selected before him on average in ESPN.com live drafts, and Dallas Clark, the top-scoring tight end so far in ESPN.com standard leagues, wasn't far behind. The Gates I saw Sunday night looked better than he had in years. No tight end has been targeted more than Gates, and I'm expecting a season like 2007, at the very least.
