ATHENS, Ga. -- They've been there, stately, iconic and emerald green, for as long as Dan Magill can remember. Long before the renowned Boston ivy began creeping along the red brick walls of Wrigley Field. Even before the brilliant, blooming rainbow of azaleas first arced across Augusta National.
