Stoops pleased with Landry Jones' progress

Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops said this week that young quarterback Landry Jones is learning quickly as he replaces injured Sam Bradford.

"He has played well," Stoops said. "He is making good progress. I think his poise, his confidence and his ability to throw the ball are all positives. I think it's just natural as a young guy, there are times where he can make a better read or needs to go a different place with the ball. ...
