Fantasy midseason awards

Debating fantasy MVP awards normally comes down to value versus actual statistics, but I think in this case, as I consider the midseason awards in fantasy football, our MVP accomplishes both factors.

The top two players for fantasy scoring through nine weeks are a pair of strong-armed quarterbacks in Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers and Matt Schaub of the Houston Texans. In standard fantasy leagues, this is not debatable. Rodgers has 167 points, Schaub 155. Nobody else has more. So does the value of how you acquired these players break the tie on who is the midseason MVP?

In this case I don't think it does. Aaron Rodgers is my midseason MVP selection.
