TCU sets Amon G. Carter Stadium record

FORT WORTH, Texas -- TCU announced a sellout crowd of 50,307, the largest number of fans to ever see a game at Amon G. Carter Stadium.

More than 3,000 standing-room only fans helped boost that number, passing the previous high of 47,280 on Nov. 17, 1984 against Texas. The Longhorns won that game, 44-23.
