Tony Jefferson (Chula Vista, Calif./Eastlake) checked out Michigan this past weekend and said he loved being a part of rivalry weekend. The five-star athlete has previously visited Oklahoma and Arizona and said he loved his time in Big Ten country this past weekend.

"It was a good visit," Jefferson said. "There's a lot of tradition at Michigan and the game atmosphere was the best I've seen so far. They have great fans and that stadium is just huge. I was really impressed with both teams and both defenses played well, but that's Big Ten football for you, they get after it.

"I got along great with all the guys on the team and it was cool to hang out with some of my boys from San Diego, Kenny Stills (Carlsbad, Calif./La Costa Canyon), and Dillon Baxter (San Diego/Mission Bay), who were also visiting with me. Michigan definitely made me feel comfortable and I'm going to consider them the rest of the way."
