• ESPNU 150 defensive end Adrian Hubbard (Norcross, Ga./Norcross) enjoyed his official visit to Florida State this past weekend. The four-star prospect told ESPN affiliate NoleInsider.com that he enjoyed spending time with the Seminoles players and coaches during his trip. He now has one more official visit left, to Alabama just after the Tide plays in the SEC championship game. The 6-foot-7, 230-pounder will announce at the Under Armour All-American game on Jan. 2. • Linebacker Justin Parker (Beaufort, S.C./Beaufort) made an unofficial visit to Clemson this past weekend, taking in the Tigers' 34-21 win against Virginia. Parker enjoyed his visit. Clemson did not re-take the lead for his services, but put itself in a stronger position to secure an official visit from the nation's No. 8 ranked inside linebacker prospect in January. Parker has been favoring South Carolina and will be in Columbia this coming weekend to watch the two in-state rivals play. • According to ESPN affiliate InsidetheU.com, Under Armour All-American defensive tackle and Canes commit Louis Nix (Jacksonville, Fla./Raines) will visit Florida on the third weekend in December. The 6-3, 318-pounder has been to Notre Dame a couple of times and will visit Miami in January. He also said that he hasn't spoken with his Miami recruiter, Clint Hurtt, in a while. It will be interesting to see what develops here. • Look for North Carolina to have the inside track to land safety/linebacker P.J. Clyburn (Statesville, N.C./West Iredell). The Tar Heels are the team he grew up dreaming of playing for and it would be a major upset if they did not land him. The other team near the top of his list, South Carolina, has not offered Clyburn a scholarship as of now.
