Look closer at underlying statistics

We fantasy owners sometimes get so caught up in statistics that we forget that the best way to analyze a player's performance is to actually watch him play. You can pore over the box scores all you want; rarely do they tell the full story. For fantasy purposes, I've always felt that there is no substitute for watching games, regardless of the sport.
