A record total of 88 points and over 1,100 yards combined made Kyle Field an exciting place to be for recruits. As expected a number of the prospects in 2010 Aggie recruiting class were on hand, led by offensive linemen Jake Matthews (Sugar Land, Texas/Elkins) and the much improved Shep Klinke (Katy, Texas/Katy High). Joining the future stars on the line were quarterback Jameill Showers (Killeen, Texas/Killeen High), receiver Malcome Kennedy (Caygua, Texas/Caygua), athletic defensive end/tight end Nehemiah Hicks (Hutto, Texas/Hutto) and defensive tackle Ivan Robinson (Longville, La/South Beauregard) among others. Two other prospects in attendance were recently offered defensive tackle Johnathan Mathis (Brenham, Texas/Blinn J.C.) and Stanford commit Zach Swanson (Katy, Texas/Katy High).
