Sims, Abilene end Bowie's postseason

Abilene was convincing in its 13th straight victory without a loss.

Arlington Bowie coach Kenny Perry said he felt like his team lost to the state champion.

"It's been awhile since we played somebody that good,'' Perry said. "They had us on our heels. And we couldn't do anything offensively, either.''

Abilene junior running back Herschel Sims rushed 33 times for 208 yards and four touchdowns. But he spread the credit around afterward.
