It will be a star-studded night at Madison Square Garden as No. 4 Kentucky takes on No. 12 Connecticut on Wednesday in the SEC/Big East Invitational. And it's not just a big night for college hoops fans; NBA scouts also will be out in full force. In particular, there are some great individual matchups, highlighted by John Wall taking on Kemba Walker at point guard and potentially a bit of Patrick Patterson against Stanley Robinson. Although you'll probably be watching with an eye on which team can go deeper into the NCAA tournament in March, here's what scouts will be focusing on to determine which guys should get picked -- and where -- in the NBA draft in June.

Kemba Walker, 6 feet, So.

If I see Walker in person this season -- and I will -- I will flash my stay-in-school card at him. Right now, he has all the ingredients to be a terrific college player. I love not only his coast-to-coast quickness but also his ability to knife into the lane against any college defense. But although he possesses terrific explosiveness and strength for his size, he is small. Maybe he's 6 feet tall.
