Asking the bloggers about Benson, Henne

I try not to overrate tough matchups for players I trust, which is why I was very interested in Sunday's game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Minnesota Vikings. Both those teams are not only playoff-bound, but also adept at stopping the running game, and of course, both have top-10 running backs. I expected Adrian Peterson to shine, but I admit Cedric Benson worried me a bit. So I ranked him 15th among running backs.

Benson didn't end up in the top 15; he rushed for 96 yards but didn't score. Because of huge games from Frank Gore and Ryan Grant, Benson is outside the top 10 in 2009 fantasy scoring among running backs, but I think he's a polarizing player for fantasy footballers to judge not only the rest of this season, but in 2010 as well. He is, after all, Cedric Benson, and in the back of our minds, don't we have to be somewhat skeptical, despite the fine season?
