Flex rankings: Maroney holding strong in top 20
By now you've probably figured out that I don't alter my fantasy football strategies whether it's a playoff matchup or merely Week 4, but some might wonder how that changes when it comes to a two-week playoff. I do have a league in which each round of the postseason is a fortnight, and I'm down 11 points heading into Week 15. I don't think 11 points is all that much to make up, though, so I'm going to stick with the players I trust, and not look for home run threats who could really produce nice games or deliver next to nothing. I'm talking to you, Devery Henderson.
Henderson didn't make my top 100 flex rankings this week, but if I was in a two-week playoff league and down 25 or so points, I'm not sure I'd be any more likely to consider someone like him if I needed to make a big comeback. I mean, fantasy teams routinely have big weeks and win by 30, 40 points, so who's to determine what is too much ground to make up? I still don't alter my strategy. Plus, using Henderson as an example, his two "big" games this season consisted of him scoring 16 and 17 fantasy points. That's a home run? More like a double. How many home-run hitters are there, really?
