Shutout record likely another keeper for Brodeur

We were fortunate enough to be in New Jersey this past spring when Martin Brodeur passed Patrick Roy to become the winningest goalie in NHL history.

It was a great night for the Devils and, obviously, for Brodeur, even if he did struggle in trying to shear the netting off the metal frame of the goal and had to be bailed out by his teammates.

It was one of those nights that marks a place in history, the marking of a record that logic suggests will never be broken.
