Tiny Gallon makes big noise
For some reason, you don't see this much anymore. And that's probably a good thing.
Oklahoma Sooners' Tiny Gallon -- 6 feet 9 and 270 pounds -- shattered a backboard in a 83-69 loss to Gonzaga Thursday night in Spokane, Wash.
Gonzaga's Robert Sacre had broken up an alley-oop pass intended for Gallon, and his momentum carried him above the rim. Gallon grabbed the rim on his way down, and the backboard shattered on top of him. There was a 52-minute delay.
