Easley: Duck ... Duck ... Gator

Oregon's loss of defensive lineman Dominique Easley (Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis) was significant and rather surprising. The talented lineman, who earned MVP honors at the Under Armour All-America Game over the weekend, appeared signed, sealed and delivered for the Ducks just days prior to his announcing for the Gators. Easley, a previous Penn State commit, took his official visit to Oregon in early December and soon after, there were whispers that the talented pass-rusher was soft on his previous commitment. As the game drew closer, the whispers became shouts and word on the street was Easley was headed to Oregon. The week of the game, there was talk that Easley had told several players that he was going to announce for Oregon and had even given quotes on why he was choosing the Ducks to a couple of writers covering the game.
