Report: Michigan to hire Brandon as AD

Michigan is expected to name Dave Brandon as its new athletics director Tuesday, according to a report in The Detroit News.

Brandon, a former Wolverines football player and the chairman and CEO of Domino's Pizza, was long considered the leading candidate to replace the retiring Bill Martin. Martin will officially retire Sept. 4, the day the school dedicates the renovated Michigan Stadium and opens the football season against Connecticut.
