Huskies land top 20 prospect

Roscoe Smith made it clear he wanted a program that suited his style of play. Smith, who has NBA aspirations, felt Connecticut, would put him in the best position to reach that lofty goal.

Friday, Smith, a 6-foot-8 forward, made it official when he chose the Huskies over Duke and Georgetown. Also in the mix were West Virginia and UCLA.
