Four stretches to stay injury-free

High school is a critical time for educating your body on the correct way to prepare for, perform and recover from exercise. Running sports like basketball, lacrosse, soccer, track and cross-country involve similar movement patterns and quick changes of direction, which can put stress on joints. So it's important to keep the stabilizing muscles around the joints -- ankles, knees and hips -- flexible.
