SEC dominates ESPN player rankings

Florida has the nation's clear No. 1 class, and it's evident when you look at the final ESPNU 150 for the Class of 2010. The Gators have 15 prospects on the list committed, including two of the top three prospects in the country in No.1 Ronald Powell (Moreno Valley, Calif./Rancho Verde) and No. 3 Dominique Easley (Staten Island, N.Y./Curtis). Some say that this could be the best recruiting class on paper in Gators' history (the 2006 effort with Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin was strong as well) and maybe of all time. The new ESPNU 150 also showcases the amount of talent heading to Southeastern Conference football programs. More than one-third (51) of the total number of prospects on the list are currently committed to play football in the SEC.
