Pulling back the curtain on the NASCAR HOF

As it has risen from a hole in the ground in uptown Charlotte, the NASCAR Hall of Fame has drawn more neck cranes that a wreck beside the highway. As bankers, government employees and mere passers-by cruise past the gleaming chrome structure they instinctively tap the brakes and lean forward to look through their windshields, squinting to see what they might make out.
