The Lone Star State produces a handful of D-I prospects from the 1A level on a yearly basis. In the 2011 class, inside linebacker Desmond Pulliam (Louise, Texas) will be one of those prospects from the smallest public school class. The 6-foot, long-armed inside linebacker is off the radar completely at this time, but don't expect that to last very long as college coaches make their rounds in January and the spring.

"I'm getting letters from Kansas right now and that's about it," Pulliam said. "I hope it picks up soon,"

Last summer, the three time first team all-district pick took in three camps impressing at TCU with his speed at 220-pounds.
