ESPNU 150 Watch List athlete Quandre Diggs (Angleton, Texas) continues to be one the most heavily recruited prospects in Texas. The 5-foot-9, 188-pound quarterback, safety and return man is picking up offers at a rapid pace. California, Stanford, LSU and Kansas State are the latest to offer joining TCU, Arizona, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Texas A&M, Arkansas, Baylor, Houston and Tulsa in offering the Houston-area offensive player of the year. "My coach told me I have 17 offers, but I don't know who all of them are." Diggs said. Texas, Georgia, Florida and Alabama are among many others programs also showing interest. Georgia and Texas have sent out junior day invites among many others. Diggs will attend the Longhorns junior day on Feb. 27. Diggs, the young brother of Sand Diego Chargers corner Quentin Jammer, was recently named the Greater Houston area Offensive Player of the Year by the Houston Chronicle. He has started at quarterback and safety for Angleton since the third game of his freshman year.
