ESPNU 150 Watch List safety Franklin Shannon (Dallas/Skyline) picked up his sixth offer on Wednesday. The Oklahoma Sooners are the latest program to offer the 6-foot-1, 205-pound defender. Oklahoma joins Kansas, Kansas State, Nebraska, Texas A&M and Oregon in offering the former defensive end. Shannon is being recruited as a safety and weakside linebacker. He has a junior day invite to Baylor.

Missouri latest to offer Watch List linebacker
Junior linebacker Kendall Thompson (Carthage, Texas/Carthage) picked up his fourth offer on Thursday. The 6-3, 230-pound outside linebacker with soft hands, instinctive pursuit ability and the versatility to play tight end, picked up an offer from Missouri yesterday. The Tigers join Arkansas, Houston and Tulsa in offering the ESPNU 150 Watch List prospect.

Texas, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State among others are recruiting the defensive leader of the 3A back-to-back state champion Bulldogs. Thompson received a Feb. 13 junior day invite from the Longhorns and plans to attend. Oklahoma State and Arkansas have also invited him to junior days.

Thompson garnered all-district and all-state honors for a second straight season
