Paterno Award to be given annually

Penn State coach Joe Paterno has won more games than any coach in FBS history. It seems only natural that a coaching award is named for him.

The Maxwell Club of Philadelphia will announce later Friday that the Joseph V. Paterno Award will be given annually to a head coach who "preserves the values that Dad has brought to the game," Scott Paterno said Friday.
