Evan Turner ... and Terrelle Pryor
At 6-foot-6, 235 pounds, Pryor is a spectacular athlete, as he's already proved for the Buckeyes' football team. As celebrated as he was as a football recruit, Pryor also received plenty of hype as a basketball prospect. During his senior year of high school, he averaged 22 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists per game, leading his team to a state title. He finished his career with 2,285 points -- No. 8 in Western Pennsylvania history. With his frame and athleticism, you wonder how good he'd be if he had gone the basketball route, kind of in the same way you're curious how good a football player LeBron James eventually would have become. Longtime basketball recruiting maven Bob Gibbons once said of Pryor, "If he focused on basketball, he could easily be in the top 25 in the country."
This is a cool list. Antonio Gates is NOT on it, although you figure he might make an all-time one. Regardless, for the OTHER side of March Madness, keep reading.
