Wright issues 'minor teaching point'

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Villanova guards Scottie Reynolds and Corey Fisher did not start in the NCAA tournament opener against Robert Morris.

A team spokesman said coach Jay Wright benched the pair as a "minor teaching point."

Their punishment didn't last last long. Reynolds sat out the first 4 minutes of Thursday's game, and Fisher checked in about 30 seconds later.

Reynolds leads the second-seeded Wildcats in scoring with 18.5 points a game and Fisher is second at 13.7 points. ...
