Skier takes blame for positive test
WARSAW, Poland -- The Polish cross-country skier who tested positive for EPO at the Vancouver Olympics says she and her doctor are to blame, but denies knowingly taking banned substances.
Kornelia Marek was questioned Wednesday by a disciplinary commission of Poland's Ski Association, which did not accept her explanations.
Marek told reporters she did not know what was in the injections that her trainer, Vitali Trypolski, gave her in Vancouver to speed up recovery.
