Baltimore Orioles second baseman Brian Roberts got his first hit of the spring on Monday, a double off the right field wall. Roberts, dealing with a herniated disc in his back, has six at-bats this spring, five of them strikeouts. The Orioles and fantasy owners should know more about his Opening Day availability if he's able to play Tuesday.

San Francisco Giants left-hander Jonathan Sanchez fanned 11 Milwaukee Brewers in six innings Monday, walking only two. Prior to Monday's game, Sanchez had 12 walks and 13 strikeouts this spring. Sanchez, currently being selected as the 50th starting pitcher in ESPN average live drafts, is slated to start the team's home opener.
