KaraBits: Glaus a mixed-league sleeper

Troy Glaus doubled twice and knocked in three runs Wednesday as the Atlanta Braves pounded Wandy Rodriguez for nine earned runs. Glaus, a sleeper first baseman even in mixed leagues, is hitting .413 this spring and should hit cleanup for the Braves, upping his value.

Chicago White Sox pitcher Freddy Garcia earned the fifth rotation spot, but Wednesday's awful outing was a bad sign. He was hammered for 10 runs on 12 hits in 3 2/3 innings, after allowing seven runs and 11 hits in five innings Friday. Keep recently demoted right-hander Daniel Hudson on your benches in AL-only leagues.
