Box Score Bits: CC, Beckett will be fine

• Wise fantasy baseball owners realize there's little reason for worry about Sunday night's starting pitchers, and that creates buy-low opportunities; CC Sabathia and Josh Beckett allowed a combined 10 runs on 14 hits and five walks in only 10 innings. Neither won. Of course, neither has to face the Boston Red Sox or New York Yankees later this week.

• Don't underestimate the power potential of the three players who homered at Fenway Park. Jorge Posada, even at 38, has averaged more than 20 home runs for the past decade. Curtis Granderson has legit power, and his 455-foot shot would have left any ballpark. And spunky Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia has said he has a 20-home run season in him. Only 19 more to go.
