Texas defender adds three more offers

2011 Under Armour All-American Nathan Hughes (Spring, Texas/Klein Oak) continues to pick up offers. He is up to 23 with the additions of Purdue, Minnesota and Tulane. The 6-foot-6, 257-pound end has also been offered by Oklahoma, Kansas State, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Baylor, Colorado, Texas A&M, TCU, LSU, Arkansas, Notre Dame, Michigan, California, Stanford, Arizona, Oregon, Duke, Houston along with a verbal offer from Alabama. Hughes has taken unofficial visits to LSU, Oklahoma and Texas. The Sooners and Tigers are currently on top for the Houston-area prospect who is a teammate of talented prospects Max Stevenson (Spring, Texas/Klein Oak), a tight end, and defensive end Jon Lewis (Spring, Texas/Klein Oak). Hughes has amassed 150 tackles and 15 sacks his two season on varsity despite playing with a cast on his right hand for most of his junior year.
