Forward 'feeling better,' expects to play
ARLINGTON, Va. -- Washington Capitals forward Nicklas Backstrom returned to the ice after missing Tuesday's workout because of an illness and expects to be in their opening game of the playoffs Thursday night against the Montreal Canadiens.
