Typically NFL offensive tackles don't make great surfers. It's not so much a matter of athletic ability on their part as it is sheer bulk -- consider the average size of a pro tackle is 6'5" and a dainty 300 pounds, while the average size of a World Tour surfer is about 5'9" and 160 pounds.
