WR Becton-Martin expecting more offers soon

Receiver Tray Becton-Martin (Memphis, Tenn./Briarcrest Christian) was one of many talented receiver prospects at last weekend's Nike NFTC on the campus of LSU. The 5-foot-10, 165-pound prospect with 4.55 speed and a 33-inch vertical has an offer on the table from his hometown university and is receiving interest from around the region and nationally. "Memphis is my only offer right now," said Becton-Martin, whose dad, Johnny, played RB for the Tigers. "They offered me the day after their junior day, but I can't remember what day it was. A lot of the coaches played with my dad at Memphis and they knew my mom. A lot of the SEC schools are showing me interest. The main schools that are showing interest are Oregon, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miami and Florida a little bit." One would assume that an SEC school may be the next to offer, but the long-armed receiver believes it could be the 2009 Pac-10 champs.
