• On a unique Thursday in which all games were won by starting pitchers -- that hadn't happened in nearly three years -- nobody got more run support than Randy Wolf. The Milwaukee Brewers lefty needed little of it, tossing six shutout innings against the Pittsburgh Pirates. The underrated Wolf remains available in 75 percent of ESPN standard leagues.

• Another under-the-radar lefty is C.J. Wilson of the Texas Rangers, who hurled 6 2/3 scoreless frames at Fenway Park Thursday, his third quality start in three chances. Wilson lowered his ERA to 1.37; like Wolf, he is also a strikeout pitcher.
