Suns' Stoudemire given flagrant foul
An NBA review of an elbow thrown by Phoenix Suns forward Amare Stoudemire in Thursday night's playoff game deemed the offense worthy of a flagrant foul 1, but not a suspension.
In the third game of the Suns' opening-round series with the Portland Trail Blazers, Stoudemire became entangled with Portland's LaMarcus Aldridge and swung his arm through to clear it. Stoudemire's elbow missed Aldridge and no foul was called at the time.
