Where are the steals for Escobar?
They were hoping Escobar would provide production much like Elvis Andrus did in his rookie season last year, at least holding his own with the batting average and providing good value with his stolen bases. (Andrus hit .267 with 33 steals in his rookie year.) Escobar hit .306, .328 and .298 in his past three seasons in the minors, and more importantly in fantasy play, stole 80 bases in the past two years with an 80 percent success rate. Brewers fans might remember Escobar stealing third twice in last year's season finale against St. Louis, and they may not have won that game if not for Escobar's timely steal in the 10th inning.
