Chicago White Sox outfielder Alex Rios homered and stole a base in Monday's win against the Cleveland Indians, his 41st game of the season. Rios has nine home runs and 14 stolen bases, with a .309 batting average. In 2009, he played in 41 games after joining the White Sox, hitting three home runs, stealing five bases and batting .199.

Boston Red Sox right-hander Clay Buchholz won his sixth game Monday, tossing six innings of one-hit, eight-strikeout ball in Tampa. Buchholz certainly has appealing statistics, except for his high 1.40 WHIP. Buchholz issued one walk for the second consecutive outing, though.
