Box Score Bits: Suzuki enjoys Fenway
• Detroit Tigers right-hander Rick Porcello couldn't sustain the magic Armando Galarraga delivered a day earlier. Porcello was given a 5-1 lead Thursday, but allowed six runs (three earned) on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings. His ERA sits at 5.25, and he's showing few signs of improvement.
• Oakland Athletics catcher Kurt Suzuki really enjoyed his trip to Fenway Park, as he delivered two hits in each of the three games, and Thursday those hits were home runs. Suzuki raised his batting average 21 points in the series, and despite a DL stint he's among the league's top power-hitting catchers, though owned in 35 percent of leagues.
