Laguerre commits to Minutemen

Jordan Laguerre (Manchester, N.H./ New Hampton) gave UMass coach Derek Kellogg his verbal commitment on Friday night, which keeps home one of New England's most talented players in the Class of 2011.
The 6-foot-1 combo guard is the second player to commit to the Minutemen within the last month, joining Hofstra transfer Chaz Williams, who will have three years of eligibility remaining.
"I have been down three times, played with the team, and gotten to know the underclassmen," Laguerre said. "I like the kids I'm going to be playing with, feel like I can talk to the coaches, and like the school itself."
