Red Wings re-sign Miller

DETROIT -- The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed forward Drew Miller to a one-year contract.

The deal is worth $650,000, a source told ESPN.com.

The 26-year-old Miller was the Anaheim Ducks' sixth-round pick (186th overall) in 2003 out of Michigan State. He played parts of three seasons with the Ducks before a trade to Tampa Bay prior to the 2009-10 season.

Miller played 14 games with Tampa Bay before being waived. The Red Wings claimed him in November, and he played in 66 games ...
