Jenkins retires with Brewers

MILWAUKEE -- Geoff Jenkins, who finished his career No. 2 in home runs for the Milwaukee Brewers, signed a contract valued at a dollar and officially retired with the team Friday.

Jenkins, who played for the Brewers from 1998 to 2007, finished his career by winning a World Series ring as a part-time player with the Philadelphia Phillies in 2008.
