State of the Industry address focused on oil spill disaster
LAS VEGAS, Nev. — The dry heat of the Nevada desert is a far cry from the humidity of the Louisiana Gulf Coast, but as the 2010 American Sportfishing Association's International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades (ICAST) kicked off in Las Vegas this morning, it was painfully obvious that much of the American fishing industry's collective attention is several hundred miles south/southeast of here, on the ongoing BP oil disaster.
