Edwin Jackson has little fantasy value

The National League leader in earned runs and wild pitches, Edwin Jackson has been traded back to the American League. Forgive me if I don't get too jacked up about this.

In fact, I have to say I don't really understand why the contending Chicago White Sox thought it was a good idea to part with interesting right-hander Daniel Hudson as well as pitching prospect David Holmberg to acquire Jackson from the Arizona Diamondbacks. Yes, Jackson did throw a no-hitter this season -- though he walked eight Tampa Bay Rays that day -- but otherwise he's been extremely disappointing, especially in five starts since.

To be honest, despite Hudson's recent struggles since being promoted to the majors after the unfortunate Jake Peavy injury a few weeks ago, I'd prefer to own him rather than Jackson in fantasy. However, neither makes the cut for ESPN standard (10-team) leagues as of now.
