There's an interesting story in Thursday's National Post about the decision that Vancouver Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo will make in the coming weeks concerning his keeping or giving up the team captaincy.
Rumors -- also mentioned in that story -- have hinted that Luongo will give up the "C" and that the Canucks' new captain will be Henrik Sedin.
In July I noted that the Canucks might finally be ready to win the Western Conference, and with that in mind, I like this potential move for many reasons -- not the least of which being that twin brothers Henrik and Daniel Sedin could take turns being captain, and no one would know. That would be fun.
To see why Hradek believes Luongo must give up the captaincy ASAP, you need to be an ESPN Insider.
