Leading from the rear
Tim Wakefield's knuckleball bounced close to Victor Martinez's feet in the first inning of the Rays-Red Sox game Wednesday night, and Martinez quickly grabbed the ball, because Tampa Bay had runners at first and second.
But when Martinez looked up, he was surprised to see John Jaso -- the Rays' catcher -- sprinting toward third base. Martinez snapped a throw to the bag but Jason beat the tag and subsequently scored on a deep fly ball.
