Kim Clijsters' victory sweet -- and sour

NEW YORK -- It's been 15 years since Steffi Graf took down Monica Seles in a queasy three-set final at the U.S. Open, the last time a women's final went the distance here.

Good thing they moved it to prime time.

Since then, there have been 15 consecutive two-setters, almost painfully devoid of drama. That includes Kim Clijsters' 6-2, 6-1 pasting of Vera Zvonareva at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Saturday night.
