Ranks reaction: Hang with Cedric Benson

I can understand how Cedric Benson's fantasy owners are a bit concerned about playing someone who has a bit of a checkered history, didn't have a great Week 1 and now has to face the vaunted Baltimore Ravens defense in Week 2, but this is why a bit of revisionist history is always a good thing, and should be taken into account when deciding whom to start.

Yes, Ray Lewis and the Ravens are good. They were good last year. They made the New York Jets' offense look silly on Monday, but Benson pilfered that Ravens defense for 237 rushing yards in two games last season, split nearly evenly, and he scored a touchdown in each contest. It's a bit premature to judge Benson solely on one game. A year ago, Benson opened with 76 rushing yards and a touchdown, and then ran for 141 yards in Week 2.
